Assisted Living
Sometimes people need a little more help than they are able to receive when living alone, however, they are not in need of a nursing home. This is where assisted living comes in.
If you are unsure whether you or your loved one could benefit from assisted living services, please read this checklist and mark off what is true for your situation: Signs that Your Loved One Might Need Assisted Living. If you have checked off more than four of these items, you might want to consider an assisted living facility.
At all our assisted living communities, we offer a little more help with daily activities, such as:
- Personal Care Assistance
- Medication Administration
- Night Checks
- Nutrition and Hydration Monitoring
- Laundry
- Housekeeping
- Medical monitoring such as blood pressure and glucose checks
Our assisted living communities are fully licensed as F1 and M1 by the state of Rhode Island and our professional staff and personalized care plans mean high-quality care that respects each resident’s individual needs and wants. Every aspect of our communities, from the facility to staff selection to care levels to activities, has been carefully selected and reviewed to help our residents be active and engaged.
Licensed personnel are on duty 24 hours a day to provide attention and healthcare to the residents. Other onsite professionals are available Monday through Friday to help with concerns about services, finances, coordinating transportation to appointments and other concerns. Knowledgeable and attentive maintenance staff members are on site Monday through Friday and on call during nights and weekends. The kitchen staff prepares the meal plans that have been approved by a licensed nutritionist and friendly wait staff serves them.
The actual price each resident pays varies considerably, and is determined based on housing unit availability and selection, a careful assessment of needs, and any additional selected services. The price determination is part of each resident’s intake process. Please note that residents must meet certain income and health requirements for entrance eligibility.
