Union Studio Architecture of Providence, R.I. created a 3-D rendering of what Aldersbridge at East Point in the Rumford section of East Providence can look like. Once built, the 39-unit apartment building — the first development of its kind in Rhode Island — will provide affordable housing and community spaces for older LGBTQI+ community and their allies. These folks often face discrimination and isolation in senior housing.
During Pride month, Union highlighted this project in its social media channels because inclusivity is integral to who they are. Together, we support the affirmation of identity, dignity and belonging for all LGBTQI+ individuals and their allies.
