
She shares how she helps people with Parkinson’s stay engaged in daily tasks and activities that bring them joy—working alongside individuals and their loved ones to address challenges and support what matters most.
“OT is the bridge between Physical Therapy and Speech Therapy,” she notes. “It plays a vital role in helping people manage symptoms and tasks, to stay independent within their daily lives. Whether a task they once did on their own is slightly modified or not, it’s the rewarding factor of ‘I’ve got this, I can do this’ that motivates me as an occupational therapist.”
