New Trustees Rick Richards and Cindy Mauch
United Methodist Elder Care is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to the Board of Trustees: Cindy Mauch of Cumberland, and Rick Richards of Providence.
Cindy Mauch is currently Chief Operating Officer at Dorcas International Institute of Rhode Island and previously was Executive Director of Literacy Volunteers of Rhode Island. Cindy holds a BS in Finance and MBA degrees from the University of Rhode Island. She is the Marketing & Communications Committee Chairperson for Arnold Mills United Methodist Church and a volunteer for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Providence Coalition program.
Rick Richards is retired from a 25 year career at the Rhode Island Department of Education, having been involved in state testing and school improvement. He serves as a lay minister with the Unitarian Universalist church in Providence and enjoys participating in the outreach to the congregation’s elderly members. He is presently involved with organizing a “virtual village” wherein senior citizens can stay in their own homes longer through organized community services.
